** £1 RAFFLE - Supporting 'Doddie Weir'5 Trust' ** Just recently the Buccleuch Arms Hotel was approached by a very likeable and passionate Hilary Carmichael asking if we would be willing to help her in her efforts to raise funds for the Doddie Weir'5 Trust in providing support, awareness and research into Motor Neurone Disease. (You may have spotted her in the Moffat News) ... As avid rugby supporters, co-sponsors (with Benmar Services / Moffat Post Office) and the clubhouse of the Moffat Rugby Football Club, lifelong supporters of Scottish Rugby, and even bigger fans of Doddie himself from his playing years and beyond, we jumped at the chance! Long story short we are hosting a raffle on Saturday the 24th of February during half time of the Scotland v England NatWest 6 Nations game which Kicks off at 16:45 after the Ireland Wales game at 14:15. Raffle Tickets cost only £1 and are available at the Buccleuch reception and Benmar Services. Fantastic Prizes and details are on the poster.
