ANNANDALE AND ESKDALE SPORTS AWARDS 2017 – Nominations are now open for the 2017 Annandale and Eskdale Sports Awards. 2017 has been another year of notable sporting success in the local area therefore do you know of someone who deserves recognition for their dedication and commitment to local sport or for an outstanding achievement in their chosen sport ? We recognise the importance of all those who participate in local sport whether as a competitor, a coach, an official, a team, a school or indeed the unsung hero behind the scenes who does all the unrecognised work and we want to hear all about them. We are looking for nominations in the following nine categories which close on Friday 2nd February 2018. The awards evening will take place on Friday 9th March 2018 at The Buccleuch Centre in Langholm and we are very grateful to our nine sponsors who make the evening possible.
