Moffat RFC Junior Tournament is over for another year and what a fantastic day of rugby we had. The weather was great and plenty fun was had by all.
Well done to all the juniors from all the club's, you all played really well and thank you for travelling across and taking part and also for demonstrating great sportsmanship.
Thanks to event sponsors Sean O Brien Plumbing Services and John Birrell and to all the travelling coaches and supporters as well as our referees Mark, Scott, Cammy and Max. A huge thank you to the best volunteer team I could ask for :- Kitchen volunteers Kirsty, Joy, Jill, Suzanne, Cammie and Michelle. BBQ volunteers Davie, Craig and Gillian. First aid team Diane & Sara and our score board team Martin and Ali. Ian & Hammy for the car park and to all my baking and soup making superstar mums!

So the only think left to say is Congratulations to Fraser Dodd who won the very special club prize of the Sam Leask Player of the Tournament in memory of a very special little ram. Congratulations to Peebles P6/7 who won their age group. Congratulations to Moffat P4/5 team who won their age group and finally Congratulations to Moffat RFC who won the tournament overall and get to keep a hold of the John Birrell quiach.
