Moffat Junior Rugby Club held their annual Fun Day last Saturday and were blessed with some beautiful Autumn sunshine. The youngsters had a great time playing rugby themed games, bouncing around on the inflatables and enjoying the refreshments. Ashleigh Douglas, Club Secretary expressed the Club's appreciation "It was a brilliant day, which also helps us to fundraise, so we would like to thank all of our helpers and everyone who came along". It was a busy weekend for the Junior Rams with a Home match vs Annan and Stewartry on Sunday. The Micros had a joint training session, whilst the P4/5s continued their winning form coming out on top against both visiting teams. The P6/7 games were close affairs and the Moffat side had a win over an improving Annan side and narrowly losing to Stewartry. With the rugby season in full swing, the Junior Rams head way out west this Sunday 25 September for a tournament at Newton Stewart.
