Last week our volunteers worked extremely hard to help several other community groups in the town during the Annual Gala celebrations.
On Tuesday night we provided shower and changing facilities for the runners of the Gala road race. 13 of our Juniors ran the road race and raised £675, thanks to all their sponsors.
On Thursday night Cammy and the Senior players provided and manned various fun & games at the Gala Fun of the Fair. We raised £207 all of which is donated back to the Gala committee.
On Friday night our team provided the bar facility at the Ball with half of the profits from the evening being given back to the Shepherd & Lass Club.
On Saturday a collection of Juniors, Seniors, Coaches and Committee members entered a Gala float and we donated our prize money to Moffat Cottage Hospital.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE MOFFAT RFC VOLUNTEERS WHO GAVE UP THEIR TIME FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHER GROUPS.
